  7. 7.
Quickly pour the batter into the wells, filling them about 2/3 full.
  8. 8.
Place the tin back into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the Yorkshire Puddings are puffed up and golden brown.
  9. 9.
Serve immediately while still hot and crispy.

Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Flour — Sift the flour before measuring to ensure a lighter batter.
  • Milk — Using whole milk will result in a richer and creamier Yorkshire Pudding.
  • Beef drippings — For the most authentic flavor, use beef drippings leftover from a roast. If unavailable, vegetable oil works as a substitute.

Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure the oven is preheated and the muffin tin is hot before pouring in the batter to achieve maximum rise.
  • Avoid opening the oven door while the Yorkshire Puddings are baking to prevent them from deflating.
  • For a twist, add a pinch of dried herbs or grated cheese to the batter for extra flavor.

Serving advice

Serve Yorkshire Puddings alongside a traditional Sunday roast, allowing them to soak up the flavorful gravy. They can also be enjoyed as a delicious appetizer or snack with a dollop of onion chutney.

Presentation advice

Arrange the Yorkshire Puddings on a platter, ensuring they are golden and puffed up. Garnish with fresh herbs, such as parsley or thyme, for an elegant touch.
