Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Cassava — Make sure to peel the cassava thoroughly and remove any tough fibers before cubing it for the soup.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a diced chili pepper to the soup.
  • Serve the soup with a squeeze of fresh lime juice for a tangy twist.
  • If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can mash some of the cooked cassava before serving.
  • This soup tastes even better the next day as the flavors have a chance to meld together, so consider making it in advance.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables such as carrots or bell peppers for added color and flavor.
