1.Rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 4-6 hours or overnight. Drain the lentils.

2.In a blender, combine the soaked lentils, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, and salt. Blend until you have a smooth batter.

3.Heat a non-stick griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Brush it lightly with vegetable oil.

4.Pour a ladleful of the lentil batter onto the griddle and spread it into a circular shape.
