Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, baking soda, and salt.

3.In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
