Preparation

1.Wash the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 2 hours.

2.Drain the lentils and grind them to a smooth paste using a blender or food processor.

3.In a mixing bowl, combine the lentil paste, chopped onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a thick batter.

4.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat.

5.Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.

6.Remove the fritters from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
