Ingredients
In this adaptation of the French dish Diot to Neapolitan cuisine, we replace the traditional French sausages with Neapolitan-style sausages. The Neapolitan sausages are made with a blend of ground pork, garlic, and Neapolitan spices, giving them a distinct flavor profile. Additionally, we incorporate aromatic herbs like oregano and basil, which are commonly used in Neapolitan cuisine, to enhance the Mediterranean taste of the dish. The original French dish is typically served with potatoes, while our Neapolitan-style Salsiccia is accompanied by roasted vegetables, reflecting the culinary preferences of Naples. We alse have the original recipe for Diot, so you can check it out.
