1.In a saucepan, combine the milk, cream, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is hot but not boiling.

3.Once cooled, transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
