Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

3.Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, stirring occasionally. This should take about 10-15 minutes.

4.While the onions are caramelizing, cut the Panamanian smoked pork into small cubes.

5.Once the onions are caramelized, remove them from the skillet and set aside.

6.In the same skillet, add the Panamanian smoked pork cubes and cook until browned on all sides.

7.Sprinkle the cumin, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper over the pork cubes. Stir well to coat the meat with the spices.
