Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Vermicelli — Make sure to dry roast the vermicelli until it turns golden brown for a crispy texture.
  • Saffron — Soak the saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk for a few minutes before adding them to the sugar syrup to enhance their flavor and color.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a variation, you can add a teaspoon of rose water or a few drops of kewra essence to the sugar syrup for a floral aroma.
  • To enhance the crunchiness, you can deep fry the vermicelli strands instead of dry roasting them.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the syrup according to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
