Ingredients

In this Bruneian adaptation of Chewi Kong, we replace the traditional ingredients used in Cameroonian cuisine with Bruneian flavors. Instead of using plantains, we use ripe bananas, which are more readily available in Brunei. Additionally, we incorporate spices commonly used in Bruneian cuisine, such as cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg, to enhance the flavor profile and create a unique twist on the original dish. We alse have the original recipe for Chewi kong, so you can check it out.
