Treat your ingredients with care...
- Corn husks — Soaking the corn husks in warm water helps to soften them and make them more pliable for wrapping the chuchitos. Make sure to remove any excess water before using.
Tips & Tricks
- If you prefer a spicier filling, add a dash of hot sauce or chili powder to the meat and vegetable mixture.
- To save time, you can prepare the filling in advance and refrigerate it until ready to use.
- Serve the chuchitos with a side of salsa fresca or guacamole for a burst of freshness.
Serving advice
Serve the chuchitos warm as a main course or as an appetizer. They pair well with a side of salsa fresca or guacamole for dipping.
Presentation advice
Arrange the chuchitos on a platter, garnished with fresh cilantro leaves for a pop of color. The vibrant green of the cilantro will beautifully contrast with the golden hue of the corn husks.
