3.In a separate bowl, cream together the ghee and remaining 1/2 cup (100g) of sugar until light and fluffy.

4.Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

5.Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

6.Grease a baking dish with ghee and arrange the marinated apple slices evenly at the bottom.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
