1.Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shelled fava beans and blanch for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Peel off the outer skins of the beans and set aside.

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chorizo slices and cook until crispy. Remove the chorizo from the skillet and set aside.

3.In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
