Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Fish fillets — Ensure the fish fillets are fresh and of high quality. Remove any bones before adding them to the soup.
  • Shrimp — To enhance the flavor, you can briefly sauté the shrimp in a separate pan with some garlic and butter before adding them to the soup.
  • Mussels — Before cooking, make sure to clean the mussels thoroughly by scrubbing them and removing any beards or debris.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a richer flavor, you can make your own fish broth by simmering fish bones and scraps with vegetables and herbs.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of herbs and spices according to your taste preferences.
  • Serve the soup with a dollop of sour cream for added creaminess.
  • If you prefer a thicker soup, you can mash some of the cooked potatoes to create a thicker base.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will further develop, making it even more delicious the next day.
