Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Cornish bacon — Choose a high-quality bacon with a good balance of fat and meat for the best flavor in the stew.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a smoky flavor, you can use smoked Cornish bacon instead of regular bacon.
  • If fresh peas are not available, frozen peas work just as well.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
  • To make the stew thicker, you can mash some of the cooked peas and vegetables with a fork before serving.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated and enjoyed the next day, as the flavors tend to develop even more.
