Treat your ingredients with care...
- Mushrooms — Make sure to clean the mushrooms thoroughly before slicing them. You can use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe off any dirt or debris.
- Dill — Fresh dill is recommended for its vibrant flavor. If you can't find fresh dill, you can substitute it with dried dill, but reduce the amount by half.
Tips & Tricks
- For a richer flavor, you can sauté the mushrooms in butter instead of olive oil.
- If you prefer a chunkier soup, you can reserve some sliced mushrooms and add them back into the soup after blending.
- To make the soup more filling, you can serve it with a side of crusty bread or garlic bread.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of dill according to your taste preferences. If you love dill, you can add a bit more for an extra burst of flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of broth or cream if needed to adjust the consistency.
