Ingredients

In the original Swedish dish, Palt, the dumplings are typically made with a mixture of grated raw and cooked potatoes, along with pork fat. However, in the Czech adaptation, Bramborové knedlíky, the dumplings are made solely with grated raw potatoes, flour, eggs, and salt. The Czech version also differs in terms of serving style and accompaniments, as it is commonly served with roasted meats and sauerkraut. We alse have the original recipe for Palt, so you can check it out.
