Preparation

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.

2.Gradually add the warm water to the flour mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.

3.Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4.Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

5.Cover the dough balls with a clean kitchen towel and let them rest for 30 minutes.

6.Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F) and place a baking stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.

7.On a floured surface, roll out each dough ball into a thin oval or rectangular shape, about 1/8 inch thick.

8.Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough onto the preheated baking stone or baking sheet.

9.Bake for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the bread puffs up and develops golden brown spots.
