Preparation

1.In a bowl, combine the Armenian paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, Armenian brandy, and olive oil to make a marinade.

2.Add the beef to the marinade and mix well to ensure all the meat is coated. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.

3.Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

4.Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

5.Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until they start to break down.
