Preparation

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

2.Gradually add the coconut milk and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and smooth.

3.If desired, divide the batter into separate bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl to create different colors.

4.Prepare a steamer by filling it with water and bringing it to a boil.

5.Grease individual puto molds or small heatproof cups with oil or butter.
