Preparation

1.Rinse the beaten rice (chiura) thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2.In a separate bowl, soak the black soybeans (bodi) in water overnight. Drain and rinse.

3.Cook the soaked soybeans in a pressure cooker with enough water until tender. Drain and set aside.

4.Roast the buffalo or chicken meat with a blend of spices until cooked through. Shred the meat and set aside.

5.Boil the eggs until they are hard-boiled. Peel and set aside.

6.Arrange the beaten rice, black soybeans, roasted meat, boiled eggs, tomato achar, sesame chutney, and spicy yogurt on a platter.
