Treat your ingredients with care...
- Chicken breasts — To ensure juicy and tender chicken, avoid overcooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Balsamic vinegar — Choose a good quality balsamic vinegar for the best flavor. Aged balsamic vinegar works particularly well in this recipe.
Tips & Tricks
- For a vegetarian version, you can substitute the chicken with tofu or tempeh and adjust the cooking time accordingly.
- Feel free to add other roasted vegetables such as eggplant or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor and variety.
- If you prefer a sweeter agrodolce sauce, you can increase the amount of honey in the marinade.
- Serve the dish with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
