Treat your ingredients with care...
- Lamb — For the most tender results, choose boneless lamb shoulder or leg. Trim any excess fat before cubing the meat.
- Dried oregano and thyme — If you prefer a stronger herbal flavor, you can increase the amount of dried oregano and thyme to 2 teaspoons each.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra burst of flavor, marinate the lamb in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice for a few hours before cooking.
- If you prefer a thicker stew, you can add a slurry of cornstarch and water during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
- Serve Apohtin Delight with warm crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and taste even better the next day as the flavors continue to develop.
- This dish pairs well with a refreshing Greek salad on the side.
Serving advice
