Preparation

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal and salt. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough is formed.

3.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the arepas on both sides until golden brown. Set aside.

4.In the same pan, add oil and heat over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

6.Sprinkle red chili powder and mix well. Cook for a minute.
