Serve the British Breakfast Burritos warm and enjoy!

Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Bacon — For extra crispiness, bake the bacon in the oven instead of frying it.
  • Sausages — Choose your favorite type of sausages, such as pork, beef, or chicken, to add your preferred flavor profile to the burrito.
  • Eggs — Whisk the eggs well before cooking to ensure a fluffy texture in the scrambled eggs.
  • Mushrooms — Use a mix of different mushroom varieties, such as button mushrooms and cremini mushrooms, to add depth of flavor to the burrito.
  • Tortillas — Warm the tortillas in the oven or on a dry skillet before assembling the burritos to make them more pliable and easier to roll.

Tips & Tricks

  • Customize the burrito by adding your favorite condiments such as ketchup, hot sauce, or HP sauce.
  • For a healthier version, use turkey bacon or chicken sausages instead of pork.
  • Add a handful of fresh spinach or rocket leaves for an extra burst of freshness and nutrition.
  • Serve the burritos with a side of hash browns or roasted potatoes for a complete meal.
  • Make a large batch of burritos and freeze them individually for quick and easy breakfasts on busy mornings.

Serving advice

Serve the British Breakfast Burritos hot, either as a standalone meal or accompanied by a side dish or salad. They are perfect for a leisurely weekend brunch or a grab-and-go breakfast on busy weekdays.

Presentation advice

To enhance the presentation, slice the burritos diagonally and arrange them on a platter with a sprinkle of fresh herbs, such as parsley or chives, on top. Serve with a side of baked beans or a small ramekin of ketchup for dipping.
