Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef stew meat — For a more tender result, you can marinate the beef stew meat in a mixture of olive oil, vinegar, and your choice of herbs and spices for a few hours before cooking.
- Smoked paprika — If you prefer a smokier flavor, you can use smoked paprika instead of regular paprika.
Tips & Tricks
- To save time, you can use a slow cooker instead of a pot. Simply follow the same steps and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours.
- For a thicker stew, you can mash some of the cooked potatoes against the side of the pot to release their starch and thicken the broth.
- Feel free to customize the vegetables according to your preference. You can add okra, green beans, or peas for additional flavors and textures.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for future enjoyment.
- The flavors of the stew develop even more the next day, so it can be even more delicious when reheated.
Serving advice
