Preparation

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, water, coconut milk, and vegetable oil. Knead the mixture until a smooth dough forms. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

2.In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the sliced morilles mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.

3.Stir in the Fijian curry powder, turmeric powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Remove from heat and let it cool.

4.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

5.Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a thin circle.

6.Place a spoonful of the mushroom mixture onto one half of each dough circle. Fold the other half over the filling and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

7.Place the filled croûtes on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
