1.In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, olive oil, dried thyme, dried oregano, and ground cumin. Mix well.

3.Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.

4.Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
