1.In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, yogurt, water, ginger paste, green chili paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Whisk until smooth.

2.Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour the batter into it.

3.Stir continuously until the batter thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan. This should take about 8-10 minutes.

4.Quickly spread a thin layer of the cooked batter on a greased flat surface or the back of a large plate.

5.Allow it to cool for a few minutes, then cut into thin strips.

6.Gently roll each strip tightly to form delicate rolls and place them on a serving dish.

7.In a small pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add asafoetida and curry leaves. Pour this tempering over the rolls.
