1.In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, jaggery, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut, cardamom powder, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Gradually add water to the mixture and knead it into a smooth dough. The dough should be pliable and not too sticky.

3.Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a thin circle.

4.Place a spoonful of the filling mixture onto one half of the circle and fold it over to form a crescent shape. Press the edges firmly to seal the filling inside.

5.Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully slide the filled crescents into the oil and fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy.

6.Remove the fried pithas from the oil and drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
