Ingredients
In the original Tatar Khychin, the filling typically consists of ground meat, onions, and spices, enclosed in a thin dough and baked until crispy. In the Chiapas-style Stuffed Tortillas, we adapt the recipe by using tortillas instead of dough, incorporating Chiapas-specific ingredients such as local spices and vegetables, and pan-frying the tortillas for a crispy texture. We alse have the original recipe for Khychin, so you can check it out.
