Ingredients
In this Tunisian adaptation, we incorporate Tunisian spices such as cumin, coriander, and caraway, as well as the fiery chili paste, harissa, to infuse the dish with the flavors of Tunisian cuisine. These additions give the stew a distinct Tunisian twist, creating a unique and flavorful dish that pays homage to both Polish and Tunisian culinary traditions. Preparation

1.Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they turn golden brown.

2.Add the shredded cabbage to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it starts to wilt.

3.Sprinkle the ground cumin, ground coriander, and caraway seeds over the cabbage. Stir well to coat the cabbage with the spices.

4.Add the harissa paste, diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth to the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5.Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.

6.Serve the spiced cabbage stew hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
