In this Bhutanese adaptation, we have replaced the traditional Hungarian lekvár (fruit preserves) with locally sourced fruits like apricots or plums, which are commonly found in Bhutan. Additionally, we have incorporated aromatic spices like cardamom and cinnamon to infuse the fruit jam with a distinct Bhutanese flavor profile. Preparation

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

    Gradually add the warm milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.
