Treat your ingredients with care...
- Fruit juice — Use freshly squeezed juice for the best flavor. If using canned or bottled juice, make sure it is 100% pure juice without added sugars.
- Rum or coconut milk — The optional addition of rum or coconut milk adds a creamy texture to the Limber. Adjust the amount according to your preference.
Tips & Tricks
- For a fun twist, try adding small chunks of fresh fruit to the Limber mixture before freezing.
- If you don't have popsicle molds, you can use ice cube trays or even small paper cups with popsicle sticks.
- To make the Limber easier to remove from the molds, let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before running them under warm water.
- Experiment with different combinations of fruit juices to create your own unique Limber flavors.
- To make a layered Limber, freeze each fruit juice layer separately before adding the next layer.
Serving advice
Serve the Limber immediately after removing it from the molds or cups to enjoy its refreshing icy texture. You can also sprinkle some shredded coconut or chopped fresh fruit on top for added visual appeal.
Presentation advice
To enhance the presentation, serve the Limber on a bed of crushed ice or in a tropical-themed glass. Garnish with a slice of fresh fruit or a sprig of mint for an extra touch of elegance.
