Treat your ingredients with care...
- Coconut milk — Shake the can of coconut milk well before using to ensure the cream and liquid are well combined.
- Turmeric powder — Be careful when handling turmeric powder as it can stain surfaces and clothing easily. Use a cutting board and utensils that are easy to clean.
Tips & Tricks
- For a spicier kick, add a chopped chili pepper to the spice mixture.
- Marinating the chicken in the spice mixture overnight will intensify the flavors.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the cooked chicken from the pot and simmer the sauce uncovered until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Garnish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice for a tangy twist.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
