4.Add the apple cider vinegar, honey, paprika, chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir well to incorporate the flavors.

5.Continue simmering the mixture for another 1-2 hours, until it thickens to a desired consistency. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

6.Once the Lyutenitsa reaches the desired thickness, remove it from heat and let it cool completely.

7.Transfer the cooled Lyutenitsa to sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.
