Ingredients
In this Sylheti-inspired version of Pemmican, we incorporate Sylheti spices like turmeric, cumin, and coriander to infuse the dish with the distinct flavors of Sylheti cuisine. Additionally, we use roasted nuts to add a crunchy texture and enhance the overall taste. These adaptations create a unique fusion of Native American and Sylheti flavors. Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 120°C (250°F).

2.In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

3.Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned and crispy.

4.Remove the beef from the skillet and let it cool.

5.In a mixing bowl, combine the turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper.

6.Add the roasted peanuts, cashews, and dried cranberries to the mixing bowl and mix well.

7.Once the beef has cooled, add it to the mixing bowl and mix until all the ingredients are well combined.

8.Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet and spread it out evenly.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours, or until the mixture is dry and crispy.

10.Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

11.Break the mixture into small pieces and store in an airtight container.
