While traditional Polish Pierogi are typically boiled and then pan-fried, our Fast Food Pierogi are baked for a healthier twist. Additionally, we have adapted the fillings to suit the fast food theme, incorporating popular flavors like bacon and cheese, buffalo chicken, and even a vegetarian option with spinach and feta. Preparation

  1. 1.
    Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the warm water and vegetable oil, mixing until a dough forms.

    Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.

    In separate bowls, prepare the fillings. For the bacon and cheese filling, mix together the sour cream, cream cheese, cooked bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. For the buffalo chicken filling, combine the cooked and shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce. For the spinach and feta filling, mix together the chopped spinach and crumbled feta cheese.

    Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles from the dough.
