Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

    In a small bowl, mix together the ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, salt, and black pepper.

    Grease a round baking dish with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

    Arrange a layer of overlapping potato slices in the bottom of the dish.

    Sprinkle a small amount of the spice mixture over the potatoes.

    Repeat the layering process until all the potatoes and spices are used, finishing with a layer of potatoes on top.
