Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

2.In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

3.In a large bowl, beat together the vegetable oil, honey, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
