Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Bacon — For a crispier texture, bake the bacon in the oven instead of frying it.
  • Black and white pudding — Fry the pudding slices in a little oil or butter for a delicious crispy exterior.
  • Soda bread — If you can't find soda bread, you can substitute it with a crusty bread of your choice.

Tips & Tricks

  • To add a burst of freshness, sprinkle some chopped parsley or chives over the finished dish.
  • For a spicier twist, add a dash of hot sauce or sprinkle some chili flakes on top.
  • Experiment with different types of sausages to vary the flavors.
  • If you prefer a softer yolk, cover the frying pan with a lid while cooking the eggs.
  • Serve with a side of baked beans for a classic Irish breakfast experience.
