Preparation

1.Rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 2-3 hours.

2.Drain the lentils and transfer them to a blender. Add rice flour, chopped onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.

3.Blend the mixture until you get a smooth batter. If needed, add a little water to adjust the consistency.

4.Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.

5.Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a pancake.

6.Cook the pancake for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown. Flip it over and cook the other side until golden brown as well.

7.Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding oil as needed.
