Preparation

1.In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, sesame oil, black pepper, and water. Mix well and set aside.

2.Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

3.Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4.Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.

5.In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until the broccoli turns bright green.

6.Return the beef to the wok and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli evenly.
