Ingredients
In this adaptation, we have incorporated the flavors and ingredients commonly found in Christmas Island cuisine. The original Turkish dish, Çerkez tavuğu, typically includes walnuts and a tangy yogurt-based dressing. However, in this Christmas Island-inspired version, we have replaced walnuts with toasted almonds and macadamia nuts for a tropical touch. Additionally, we have infused the dressing with lime juice and coconut milk to enhance the island flavors. We alse have the original recipe for Çerkez tavuğu, so you can check it out.
