Preparation

1.Rinse the dried longan, barley, lotus seeds, white fungus, and gingko nuts under cold water.

2.In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

3.Add the rinsed dried longan, barley, lotus seeds, white fungus, and gingko nuts to the pot.

4.Tie the pandan leaves into a knot and add them to the pot.

5.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until the ingredients are tender.

6.Add the rock sugar to the pot and stir until dissolved.

7.Remove the pot from heat and let the soup cool to room temperature.
