Treat your ingredients with care...
- Wild boar meat — Ensure the meat is properly cubed and trimmed of any excess fat before cooking to achieve a tender and flavorful result.
- Dark chocolate — Use high-quality dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content for the best flavor. Grate the chocolate just before adding it to the stew to ensure it melts evenly.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra kick of heat, add a diced jalapeño or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the stew.
- If wild boar meat is not available, you can substitute it with pork shoulder or beef stew meat.
- Allow the stew to rest for a few hours or overnight before serving to allow the flavors to meld together even more.
- Serve the stew with a squeeze of fresh lime juice for a burst of citrusy flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and taste even better the next day as the flavors continue to develop.
