Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Chestnuts — Make sure to peel the chestnuts before cooking them. To easily peel them, make a small incision on the flat side of each chestnut and boil them for a few minutes. The shells will then be easier to remove.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the milk with heavy cream.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, pass the chestnut puree through a fine-mesh sieve before refrigerating.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste preference.
  • Serve the Liaoning Chestnut Puree chilled for a refreshing dessert experience.
  • Experiment with different garnishes such as chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cinnamon for added flair.
