Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Beef chuck roast — For the best results, choose a well-marbled chuck roast as it will become tender and flavorful when slow-cooked.
  • Soy sauce — Use a low-sodium soy sauce if you prefer to control the saltiness of the dish.
  • Ginger — Fresh ginger adds a bright and aromatic flavor. Grate it finely for a smoother texture in the sauce.

Tips & Tricks

  • For an extra kick of heat, add a pinch of chili flakes or a chopped chili pepper to the sauce.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and add it to the pan during the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated for a quick and delicious meal.
