Ingredients
In this Turkish adaptation of Pain aux noix, the traditional French walnut bread, we incorporate Turkish flavors and ingredients to create a unique twist. While the French version typically uses white flour, we combine all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour to add a nutty flavor and a touch of wholesomeness. Additionally, we infuse the bread with the richness of olive oil, a staple in Turkish cuisine, and a hint of sweetness from honey, which complements the walnuts beautifully. We alse have the original recipe for Pain aux noix, so you can check it out.
