1.In a large saucepan, heat the honey over medium heat until it reaches a gentle boil.

3.Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking, stirring frequently, for about 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.

4.Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

5.Line a baking dish with parchment paper and pour the mixture into the dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.

6.Allow the Pasteli to cool completely and set at room temperature for about 2 hours.
